Dear Sivakumar,
Thanks for your comment. The alleged war crimes committed by the Sri Lankan government (and the LTTE) during the war certainly should be investigated by the International Criminal Court and I am sure many of the atrocities that have been perpetrated would necessitate trials at the ICC. Unfortunately Sri Lanka is not a member of the ICC and therefore, unless the UN security council requires an investigation (as it did for Sudan), nothing can be done. My feeling is that Western involvement in the conflict has generally being unproductive and most of the Sri Lankan population is mostly happy the war is over and is not yet disposed to look into the crimes committed. A UN resolution would therefore be counter-productive as it would only create resentment. What do you think? COuld you tell me a bit more about your organisation too, I had a look at the website and you have a number of very interesting supporters.

LTTE is a freedom fighters for defends tamil population more than 35 years in their own home land. SLGO, India, China, Pakistan ... military had decided to destroy and erase LTTE and tamil innocent civilations. I feel in your comment that SLGO lie to the international community and they unfortunetly believe to SLGO.
> The justice should defend the real face of people. What role ? The justice has to come to the end of the international criminal war, they have to give a positiv decision to the tamil population.
>
> - is claster bomb could be use ?
> - is chemical things, white pottasium could be use ?
>
> is all this things are allow in ONU low ? the ONU say that heavy artellary don't have to be used but SLGO used it. SLGO used in their home land to kill their own population. What do you think about ?
