1. Evidence has been found agains Uganda and Rwanda committing crimes in Congo.

2. Since Uganda is a signatory to the ICC, they were found for $10 billion in damages for crimes committed in Congo.

3.  Kenya is also pursuing some of the crimes committed in National courts but he is still pursuing them, so the argument on Nkunda is bogus.

4. Colonial powers did not simply just look on in 1994 in Rwanda. They were requested by the RPF rebels who ended up winning the war not  to intervene. They were threatened by the RPF that they would be shot if they intervened.  The RPF ended up winning with some underhanded support from colonial masters.</description>

Vous avez posé les bonnes questions. Dommage de certaines réponses, comme pour l&#039;Uganda et le Rwanda. Comment peut-il dire ne pas disposer de preuves alors que la Cour Internationale de Justice a déjà condamné l&#039;Uganda pour son invasion du Congo. Ceci a donc, ce que nous appelons, &quot;autorité de chose jugée&quot; et s&#039;impose à Ocampo.
Je suis heureux qu&#039;il y ait enfin une certaine évolution et qu&#039;on ne considère plus la défense comme le &quot;grand public&quot; duquel les témoins et intermédiaires doivent être protégés. C&#039;était un des débats depuis le début.
Je suis choqué d&#039;entendre dire Ocampo que Thomas Lubanga serait coupable d&#039;autres crimes. Comme Procureur il est tenu par sa propre incrimination limitée. Pourquoi n&#039;a-t-il pas entamé de nouvelles poursuites ?  Nous savons qu&#039;il a voulu - d&#039;une manière très opportuniste - &quot;ceuillir&quot; Thomas Lubanga en prison à Kinshasa, en détention illégale depuis trois ans, après quoi il a encore eu l&#039;occasion pendant de longs mois d&#039;étendre les accusations. La réalité est qu&#039;il n&#039;a pas trouvé d&#039;autres preuves parce qu&#039;il n&#039;y a pas eu de crimes et il le sait. Il a donc l&#039;obligation de se taire.</description>
