
It’s been a busy past two months, in Europe, traveling to lots of places, catching up with lots of people, catching up with projects, ideas, stuff. Catching up… I feel like that’s what I do most of the time. It can get tiring. I am always either arriving or departing somewhere, in a hectic haze, and though I am far from being a rootless person, it is sometimes difficult to feel grounded.
Already missing my friends, I am leaving Paris…

My last pictures from the beautiful weekend I spent on the island of Yeu, off the west coast of France. A place for rest and peace of mind. In a week time I will be heading back to Congo and I am nervous. The campaign for the presidential and parliamentarian elections has been very tensed so far and the mounting violence is not a good omen for what will happen post-elections. It is not a pleasant perspective. Haut les coeurs…
